When technology goes wrong...
Nowadays, children are most at risk when it comes to excessive use of technology. It is hard to monitor your child’s activities on the web for different reasons. First, technology in today’s society has become so advanced that it is challenging to be in control of what the children can and cannot access. Secondly, parents have no means of regulating the usage when they themselves are also using it in the same manner. This results in lack of communication between parent and child, making it difficult to explain how technology can become dangerous when overused. In order to fix the problem, we would introduce a concept that is familiar to children to teach them a lesson about all the negative effects of technology: fables.
Fables are a means for parents to educate their children about carrying out the right conduct and moral values in life. Our solution for the negative side of screen time exposure is to create fables that speak to the dangers of having too much screen time, as well as other relating concerns between kids and technology.
